Millennials are out. Zillennials are in

Updated: Jul 24, 2021

Actually, Millennials aren't really out, they just aren't young adults anymore. Most millennials have learned how taxes work and where food is in the grocery store. Most millennials are either married or have children, or buying a home. However, the older generations still think millennials are still partying in college.

This is simply not true.

A Zillennial is a term created for the confused group of people at the edge of Millennial and Generation Z. Google says they can be anywhere from 1992 to 1998, but I'm not entirely sure that's accurate. This means, that millennials have fully graduated from college since the oldest generation Z was born in about 1996.

However, me, and others like me do not fit in with the Zoomers. This is where the term Zillennials comes in. It helps people my age feel like they fit in since we share the same experiences. As of 2021, all of the Zillennials have had that opportunity to finish an undergraduate degree, which means Generation Z is the party age.

Zillennials are learning how apartments work, how to buy a house, having babies, getting engaged, but we are all experiencing the same struggles right now: How do we adult?
